Monitor Be Free

Great news the injured monitor that came in last week is now all healed.
Now free to roam the bush once again.
Getting a rehydration bath in the morning and being released at Midday.
 
Strutting off as if it owns the bush and into the midday sunshine.

Monitor update

The Monitor is doing really well. Her eye is now open and looks really good. Here she is in her enclosure [That Paul one of our Volunteers made] recuperating with a heat pad to help her. She is really active now and looks like she will be released very soon.

A stunning Reptile

We have had a monitor come into the refuge. She is very colourful and has had a bump to her head. She has made it through the night and has had fluids and medications as well as a warming bath to re-hydrate her.
Here is a nice shot of her head and have a look at those pedicured nails....what an awesome reptile...

Today Tonight

The little Woylie Kenny is growing up. He is now at 460gms and is now in one of the outside enclosures.
