Maroo Wildlife Refuge and Project Numbat Join Forces

The Shire on Manjimup had a opening day for their $1.1 brand new playground at the Manjimup Timber Park and Maroo Wildlife Refuge and Project Numbat were invited to attend.
Despite the early rain we had a really great attendance and many signed our support sheet for a Wildlife Interpretation Shelter to be built in the Timber Park.
There was also a very special appearance of Nurla Project Numbats very energetic Mascot
and we also hear that there is a Entertaining Viral video of Nurla dancing with all the youngsters.....

Early in the day setup
Thanks goes to Jodie, Dan, Irene and Paul [Maroo Volunteers] for helping us out on the day and Chris from Project Numbat who drove all the way down from Perth to help the Numbats Cause.
Did you know that a numbat consumes over 20,000 termites a day.
geeeez I wonder who counted them all.
