March Training Day

Participants in our new Education Room

At lunchtime our participants for Wildlife Safety and Handling were prevlidged to handle a Monitor who had just been admited after Glen had skillfully extracted him from a down pipe of a neighbours house.

Barbara, from Shoelwater was very keen to give her handling skills a try, well done Barbara

After a quick examination , no injuries were found BUT! his reason for being in the drain pipe became very obvious. He had make him self available to a dozen of the neighbours chicken eggs. When he went into the drain pipe to access the pen he was quite lean but on exiting, with a belly full of eggs he didnt fit so well.

So... with a full belly we let him go to rest and digest his free lunch.
